YOUTH CLIMATE SUMMITS GO VIRTUAL!

The Wild Center’s Youth Climate Program is thrilled to announce a brand-new, FREE resource – Youth Climate Summits Go Virtual! 

This mini-toolkit, aimed at supporting the shift to virtual Youth Climate Summits, has been created through the shared knowledge of the Youth Climate Summit network — students, teachers, summit organizers, and program supporters who have put their creativity to work transforming in-person summits for virtual platforms. This living document will be continuously updated as we navigate this transition together and learn from one another’s experiences.

Included are tips on rethinking summit goals, building an agenda appropriate for a virtual setting, facilitating online workshops, recommended tools and platforms, socially-distant climate action planning, and incorporating youth voice and energy into digital events.
