OrganizationsThe Green Learning Network: Building capacity for green economy solutions
Universities and training institutes have a key role to play in equipping current and future decision-makers with the knowledge and tools they need to design and implement green economy solutions that offer major opportunities for people, businesses and economies.
The Green Learning Network, launched by the GGKP and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) with support from the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE), works to improve existing education and training opportunities and facilitate the creation of new courses, programmes and learning resources to build a critical mass of professionals that understand the risks and opportunities of a green transition.
The creation of this network is in response to demand from participants of the 2nd Global Forum on Green Economy Learning.
