AASHE 2019 Conference Highlights

The 2019 AASHE Conference & Expo was an exciting event that gathered nearly 1,700 attendees from 11 countries. We were thrilled to connect with this community of higher education sustainability leaders in Spokane, Washington, as we explored the theme, “Co-Creating a Sustainable Economy.”

Highlights from this year’s event include:

  • #AASHE2019 achieve Zero Waste.  This year’s event’s diversion rate was 93.6%.
  • Leftover food was donated.
  • 2,000 metric tons were offset by carbon credits.
