Are you responsible, silly, curious about the world, and interested in connecting children with nature? Are you hoping to hone your skills as an educator?
Spend your summer working at Portland Parks and Recreation’s Nature Day Camp! Our summer camp staff is comprised of teens and young adults (16 yrs+) who are rich in culture, knowledge, background, and skills. Positions are 40 hrs/week, June 17-Aug 23. Camps are 100% outdoors and take place at Mt. Tabor Park, Hoyt Arboretum, and Sellwood Park/Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge.
Open positions include Naturalist I (beginning naturalist), Naturalist II (experienced, lead naturalist), or as a summer coordinator on our Support Staff. Whether you have years of experience as an environmental educator or simply love children and nature, we have a position tailored to you!
