Volunteers are needed to help with a long term survey of rare carnivores on Mt Hood. Help search for wolverine and wolves, study the distribution of rare montane red fox, and document other resident carnivores.
Volunteers will be part of a group of 5-6 people that is responsible for a camera for the summer season, June to October.
Orientation sessions are Sunday May 19, 2:30-4:00pm and Tuesday May 28, 6:00-7:30pm (choose one). You’ll learn more about the project, and what is expected of you as a volunteer, and why volunteer-driven science is so important in efforts to protect imperiled wildlife. Located a the Leaven Community Center, 5431 NE 20th Ave.
