Q2 Breakfast Club Learning Series (Virtual Edition) RE-OPEN FOR BUSINESS
May 27, 2020 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am
Free
Join us for the Conscious Capitalism Portland: Virtual Breakfast Club where we host conversations about how capitalism can support our common purpose as humanity.
For this event, we will be hosting a conversation about the impact of COVID-19 on our local businesses, community, and livelihoods.
Please join us for a facilitated discussion with business leaders about the impact of COVID-19 on our communities and what to expect as businesses restart after closures and furloughs.
You’ll benefit from this conversation if:
- Your business or your livelihood suffered as a result of COVID-19 and the associated restrictions.
- You have an inspiring story or a challenging loss to share
- You have ideas about how to re-open and function as a business in the post-pandemic environment
We’ll also talk about:
- Recognizing that Black, Indigenous and People of Color, individuals with disabilities, and individuals experiencing poverty are often disproportionately affected by these kinds of challenges, what can we do to center a racial equity lens in our collective responses to COVID-19?
Through the economic challenge of this pandemic, we see an opening to revisit old principles around profit, people and purpose and see them in new ways. Through our collective conversation, we can brainstorm effective strategies to respond to these challenges.
Come as a team or come individually! Enjoy professional networking and team development opportunities as we work together to build an engaged community of like-minded business leaders in this region.
If you’re unable to make it, you can always monitor the follow-up discussions in the
CCPortland FB group.
