THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dynamic leader with a demonstrated record of improving student performance and eliminating achievement disparities to join us as our Programs Manager of Climate Change and Climate Justice. The Programs Manager of Climate Change and Climate Justice is a critical leadership position. As the Programs Manager of Climate Change and Climate Justice you will report to the Senior Director of STEAM in the Office of Teaching and Learning.You will take a leadership role in the district’s work to identify and highlight exemplary climate change and climate justice curriculum already being taught in PPS classrooms, and to support the development of additional climate change and climate justice curriculum, inclusive of student and community voice. You will serve as a strong collaborator across the Department, District and Community, especially the student-led Climate Justice advocacy group, the Climate Justice Committee, the PPS Board Student Representative, and the District Student Council.
