Portland Area Beginning Farmer Info Night

– October 23rd, 6:30pm @ Zenger Farm

Interested in learning to farm or advancing your farm business or career? Come hear from and connect with many organizations that are supporting the development of beginning farmers in the Portland region. Each organization will do a short talk about how their programming helps beginning farmers, and then there will be networking / tabling time so you can connect informally with any of the organizations. Light food provided.

Participating organizations include: Bridge City Farm School, Clackamas Community College (Organic Farming Certificate), Friends of Family Farmers (Oregon FarmLink), Headwaters Incubator Program, OSU Small Farms, Rogue Farm Corps, and Zenger Farm.

WHERE: Zenger Farm Urban Grange – 11741 SE Foster Road, Portland, OR – Transit: Lines 10 or 73, drop-off at 120th & SE Foster. Transit to other major lines at the Green Max Line at the 94th & Foster/Lents stop.
Food: We’ll provide some light food to accompany the evening.
