Peace Memorial Park Clean-Up

This is a great way to become involved in a community beautification project here in the Lloyd neighborhood. Thousands of people walk and ride their bikes by this space every day and we aim to make it a place where people, and pollinators, can take a moment to enjoy the beauty of Portland. This space will enhance the original message of peace that Veterans For Peace created in the space, and include a pollinator garden, with information on their importance to our ecosystem. Soon we will be showcasing 3 park redesign options to gather public input on what the final design should be. Project partner PLACE Studios is providing the design alternatives and we will send information for when and where the meeting will be held. For now please join us, and the goats, this Saturday to keep the park looking good!
