Learn animal tracking while searching for rare carnivores on Mt Hood

$65Wolverine Tracking Project
Interested in the animals that live on Mt Hood? Love to snowshoe? Learn to read footprints in the snow while helping with a long term survey of rare carnivores on Mt Hood. Search for wolverine and wolves, study the distribution of rare montane red fox, and document other resident carnivores.
- Develop skills in animal tracking and reading the landscape
- Enjoy group snowshoe trips
- Learn about wildlife
- Help increase knowledge of rare carnivores
Trainings in November include both a classroom and a field session. Season cost: $65. This fee helps us run the project and includes the two training sessions plus a winter’s worth of mentoring in animal tracking.
