Land of the Lichen with Science Fridays and the World Forestry Center – Cancelled

March 28, 2020 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

$15
Science Fridays has taken a lichen to Portland! That’s why they’re coming to World Forestry Center for a day exploring the fuzzy growths on trees, roofs, and gravestones: lichens.
Join Science Friday and World Forestry Center as we highlight these special symbiotic organisms. Meet experts in the forests, see select specimens from near and far, and maybe even discover a favorite lichen that you didn’t know existed. The event will feature an on-stage presentation and interactive stations. Come early to stop by all the tables!
