The Statewide STEM Beyond School project has received funding from the Collins Foundation to support two additional afterschool and/or out-of-school providers to start or expand STEM education programming for 2018-19. The Collins Foundation invests in Oregon nonprofit organizations, both rural and urban, that are dedicated to improving quality of life and well-being for the people in their communities. The Foundation’s vision includes making Oregon a place where all people have access to high quality, culturally responsible services in sectors such as health, social services, education, housing and employment.
The selected applicants will receive $25,000 in program funds to expand STEM learning opportunities to underserved students in grades 3-8 and will gain access to professional development and learning opportunities for educators during the next school year. Interested organizations should review the Application Guidance Document prior to completing this application.
All responses must be submitted through this Google Form. Any questions about this RFP or the STEM Beyond School Project can be directed to Beth St. Amand, SBS Program Coordinator, at beth.stamand@oregonstate.edu.
