Down The River Cleanup

The Clackamas River Basin Council will be co-hosting a VERY important event that has occured on our River since 2003 called the Down The River Cleanup. This is an event that, with the help up hundreds of participants each year, covers the Clackamas River from MiloMcIver Park in Estacada all the way to the mouth at Clackamette Park in Gladstone and results in TONS of trash going to the dump and recycling instead of languishing in our precious resource.

Volunteering can take all forms from holding down the registration table at a put in site to paddling the river to helping participants sort their finds at the end. At the end, there will be a free BBQ party just for you and 200 of your closest friends at Barton Park.
