Conference Theme: Root Causes and Positive Actions

March 2-4, University of Oregon, Eugene

WOHESC 2020 will continue to work to advance equity, diversity and inclusion through conference thematic elements, speakers and attendees. This year, we focus on root causes to sustainability challenges and positive actions to address them.

Topics of Interest Include:

• Community building; social infrastructure
• Engaging students, faculty, and staff about sustainability and social justice
• Program development – how to start a sustainability program with reduced/limited funding
• Student-led sustainability DEI initiatives
• Social and Environmental Justice
• Process and project management
