The Sustainable Development Goals are a collection of 17 global goals designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”. The SDGs were set in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and intended to be achieved by the year 2030.
During Earth Month, we’ll gather to hear from Kim Smith for an overview of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Why should businesses and individuals be informed? Bring your questions and find out more.
B Lab and the UN Global Compact have developed a new online impact-management solution. Launched in January 2020, the SDG Action Manager incorporates B Lab’s B Impact Assessment and the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact to provide tools and direction so businesses can lead by reshaping their practices and using their collective voice to make progress on the SDGs in the next decade. Mike Mercer will provide a hands-on look at this new SDG Action Manager to learn how your business can take part.
