Even though the Coronavirus is resulting in a number of significant changes and the Columbia Gorge Community College has indefinitely postponed Spring term classes, the course “Co-Creating a Sustainable Future” will still be hosted via Zoom by Milt Markewitz.
Do you want to better understand the ethical shortfalls that underlay climate change, wars, and social injustices? Explore the academic bridges
and the spiritual pathways necessary to create ecological integrity and social harmony. Understand the life changes necessary to live within the Earth’s
capacity to renew, cleanse and heal.
EVERY TUESDAY EVENING FROM 7:00 – 8:30 FOR 11 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS BEGINNING MARCH 31ST AND ENDING JUNE 9TH.
Note that there is no Registration fee.
The essence of the 11-week series is as follows:
1) Participants are asked to share current aspirations, and to then update them based on what they’ve learned in subsequent sessions;
2) Topical content and embodiment exercises in each session will help participants recognize the difference between sustainable and non-sustainable cultures;
3) Since the sustainable cultures are Earth Based and I’m a product of the non-sustainable culture, almost every session will have an Earth Based facilitator.
4) Through these facilitations it is hoped that participants will experience a process orientation with natural flows and emergence; and
5) Each session is intended to be 1/3 to 1/2 conversational and reflective.
The schedule is as follows:
To Register, email Milt Markewitz with your first and last names, email address, phone #, and if you would like the name of your organization. When Milt receives your request, he ’ll send you the link to ZOOM. miltmarkewitz@gmail.com
