International Visitor Program Officer

The International Visitor Program enables cross-cultural conversations and facilitates professional knowledge exchange between Oregon communities and the world.

WorldOregon partners with the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) to facilitate inbound exchanges with young, emerging, and established leaders from around the world. Visitors are nominated and selected by U.S. Embassies around the world to travel to select U.S. cities for several weeks. Program activities reflect the professional interests of the visiting leaders and U.S. foreign policy goals including topics such as environmental sustainability, transportation accessibility, advancing minority rights, and more!

This is a unique opportunity to plan and implement inbound international exchange programs, including the prestigious U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program, at Oregon’s premier international affairs organization and contribute to its mission of connecting Oregonians to the world.
